Once Human lets you create your own character, and that includes giving them the most ridiculous name you can think of. But what if you want to change it? Here’s how to rename yourself using the Renaming Card in Once Human.
To use the Renaming Card in Once Human, you need to go to your profile located in the top right-hand corner of the menu and select "edit name." However, without a Renaming Card, the accept button will be greyed out. Therefore, the first step in utilizing a Renaming Card is to acquire one.
The unfortunate reality is that you will need to pay for it. Although it is possible that Once Human will provide free Renaming Cards in the future, like after you’ve been playing for a certain duration, there are currently no indications that this will happen. As a result, you will need to purchase a Renaming Card to change your character's name.
So, how can you get a Renaming Card? Here’s the process:
Currently, Crystgin cannot be earned in-game, which means if you don’t have any, you will need to buy them for €4.99 or the equivalent in your local currency. Once you have your Renaming Card, using it is straightforward:
If you do not possess a Renaming Card, the "Confirm" option will be greyed out, meaning you can type your desired name but cannot change it without the card. Each time you rename your character, it will cost you €4.99, as using the Renaming Card will use it up.

Charging players for renaming makes sense as it prevents abusive players from simply hiding, but it would have been nice if Starry Studio allowed at least one free name change. This is how you can use the Renaming Card in Once Human.
