All Free Games on the Epic Games Store

Every week, the Epic Games Store gives away at least one free game. And we’re not talking about titles that didn’t sell or are infamously bad. The store has given away everything from little indie games to AAA titles, and all you need to claim them is a free Epic Games Store account.

You don’t even have to download the launcher until you want to play them — you can claim them through their respective web pages. Here are the Epic Games Store’s current free games.

Witch It – October 31 to November 7

Witch It

Publisher/Developer: Barrel Roll Games

Can you tell which witch is which? Then Witch It could be the game for you; a magical variation on prop hunt where you track down hidden witches. It looks absolutely gorgeous and is rated Very Positive on Steam.

It’s online co-op only, so you can’t peek over your friends’ shoulders and see where they’re hiding, but there’s a small but active player base. In fact, there are four times as many people playing this via Steam as are playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, according to SteamDB. Hopefully, it’ll be even easier to get a game now it’s free on the Epic Games Store.

Ghostwire Tokyo – October 31 to November 7

Ghostwire Tokyo

Developer: Tango Gameworks

Publisher: Bethesda Softworks

This isn’t the first time this spooky first-person ghost-busting game has been free; it’s previously been available as a 24-hour freebie. Ghostwire: Tokyo is creepy rather than downright terrifying and is, as Marty Sliva put it, the next best thing to visiting Tokyo.

Aided by a semi-friendly spirit, you’re tasked with undoing a supernatural apocalypse that’s overtaken the Japanese capital. There’s a whole host of urban-legend-inspired enemies to battle, but just roaming around peeking into stores is a delight in itself.

Upcoming Free Games on the Epic Games Store

What else is on the way? There’s one free game available from November 7, plus content for Apex Legends.

Deceive Inc – November 7 to November 14

Deceive Inc

Developer: Sweet Bandits Studios

Publisher: Tripwire Presents

Deceive Inc. challenges you to pull the wool over other players’ eyes, not by murdering them, but by being the first to plunder each level’s vault and get away unhindered. You can disguise yourself as other NPCs, which will absolutely fool computer-controlled foes but players are more canny.

It’s sitting at Very Positive on Steam, and November 7 is also the date the Scoundrels & Sentinels update drops, promising additional map variants, rebalanced gameplay, and more. So, if you’re up for some stealthy shenanigans, this could be one to grab.
