After acquiring the 65th Egg, you’ll need to navigate to the game's final area, where you previously encountered the Manticore.

There, you will need to revisit the four rooms where you activated six yellow switches while being chased. Make your way to the left-hand side of the top-left room and use the Top to reveal a secret passage in the wall. This passage leads to an incubation room, which is where the next phase of your adventure begins.

In the incubation room, place the 65th Egg on the pedestal. This action will spawn a second Manticore that will begin to chase you, launching the next phase of the game!

Surviving the Manticore Chase

Once you’ve released the second Manticore, your goal will be to lead it two screens to the right, where you will encounter a vertical line of glass tiles on the upper far-right wall. Wait for the Manticore to shoot its laser eyes at you and strategically align the lasers to break the glass tiles.

After clearing the glass, use the Top next to the firecracker to reveal a wheel pedestal. Engaging with the Wheel will raise the block next to it, opening a new path. Although this path doesn't lead anywhere directly, it will raise a different block in an adjacent room.

Now, return to the incubation room and have the Manticore destroy the line of glass tiles on the left side. Once the path is clear, proceed left and utilize the Remote to bypass the grey tiles obstructing your way. Afterward, use the B. Ball on the breakable blocks just past that to continue your journey.

Final Steps to Achieve the True Ending

Once you navigate into the open room, rush over to the pedestal on the left and play a series of random notes on your Animal Flute. As you play, the Manticore will approach and open its mouth, inviting you to jump in. This leap of faith will whisk you away into the sky!

And that’s how you leave the Well in Animal Well, unlocking the secret true ending and earning the "Exit" trophy or achievement. As the credits roll a second time, while soaring through the sky on the Manticore, you can travel upward several screens to reach a high platform.

Here, you can disembark, walk a couple of screens to the right, and activate a warp point between the sky platform and your house. This feature allows you to continue your journey in the game, searching for more secret bunnies if you choose!
