To get the Facet of Sacrifice, you will need to play through the Iconoclasm Final Shape campaign mission. This mission marks the culmination of your journey, leading you to a showdown with The Witness. Fortunately, you don’t have to face The Witness directly to acquire the Facet; however, you will need to venture deep into the mission to locate it. Specifically, the Facet of Sacrifice can be found in a small nook within the wall of The Witness's temple.

If you've already completed the campaign, replaying missions is straightforward. Just head over to the Pale Heart in the Director to find an option that allows you to replay missions. Choose your preferred difficulty setting and select the Iconoclasm mission to begin your quest for the Facet of Sacrifice.

How to Navigate the Iconoclasm Mission

As you progress through the Iconoclasm mission, it's essential to know that reaching the Facet of Sacrifice requires you to play through a significant portion of the mission. You can skip certain sections that don't have respawns, but expect to engage in a few challenging battles. For example, you will encounter an Ogre and have to participate in glyph fights, which are crucial to moving forward.

Your ultimate destination is the top of a climbing puzzle located at the end of the outdoor section of the mission. Make sure to push through until you reach the peak, as this puzzle can be a bit tricky. However, if you’ve completed the campaign before, you should find it manageable.

Upon reaching the top, you will discover a statue of a war beast that seems to embody its final shape. Although you might instinctively go right, the correct path lies to the left, where a dark door leads into an even darker corridor.

Finding the Hidden Alcove

As you navigate this corridor, look up and slightly to the right to spot a small alcove high on the wall. To reach it, you might need to adjust your jump ability to gain enough height. Once you reach this alcove, follow the narrow hidden passage that you find there. You will need to drop down a couple of times, but rest assured, you cannot go the wrong way. At the end of this passage lies a Prismatic chest containing the coveted Facet of Sacrifice.

The Facet of Sacrifice is not just a trophy; it provides significant benefits while you have an Arc, Solar, or Void buff. Specifically, ability final blows grant bonus Darkness Transcendence energy, along with a +10 boost to Discipline.

Once you unlock the Facet of Sacrifice, you’ll gain enhanced capabilities in combat.
